Hamid is a passionate computational designer with a strong background in architecture and digital fabrication. He holds a Master of Advanced Studies in Architecture and Digital Fabrication from ETH Zurich and a Bachelor of Architecture from Eram Institute of Higher Education in Iran. With over seven years of experience, he has refined his skills in Rhino and Grasshopper as both a practitioner and educator, delivering training in these tools both online and in person. His expertise further encompasses Python, C#, 3D printing, laser cutting, and robotic automation.

Additionally, Hamid has contributed to the development of several Grasshopper plugins, including:

  • IAC: Enhancing data processing speed and introducing missing functionalities.

  • JAVID: An image-processing tool that generates artistic 2D graphics from Bitmap files.

  • Giraffe: Grasshopper’s first plotting-based data analysis plugin, integrating Matplotlib’s powerful plotting capabilities directly into Grasshopper for seamless data and design visualisation within Rhino’s computational design environment.

He has been involved in multiple award-winning projects and has received recognition for his innovative designs. His professional experience includes significant roles in educational institutions and design offices, where he has developed and implemented creative computational solutions.
